Itinerary

You are picked up from your hotel in Arusha (or from Kilimanjaro International Airport if arriving that morning). After a safari briefing, you depart by private 4x4 safari vehicle toward Tarangire National Park, traveling through scenic countryside and local villages. Upon park entry, you begin wildlife viewing immediately. Tarangire is known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds; you observe families feeding, walking, and interacting. Other possible sightings include giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, impalas, and a wide variety of birdlife. Lunch is at a designated picnic site inside the park. In the afternoon, you explore different sections as wildlife becomes more active during cooler hours, with opportunities for baobab landscapes, bird watching, and photography. After exiting the park, you drive to Manyara's Secret, a luxury lodge on the eastern shore of Lake Manyara, for sunset photography, relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

After breakfast at Manyara's Secret, you transfer by road to the Ngorongoro Crater. You descend early to enjoy cooler temperatures and quieter conditions. Explore open grasslands, swamp areas, forested sections, wetlands, and lake edges within this unique caldera ecosystem. Ngorongoro is one of the few places where lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and black rhino coexist; sightings depend on natural movement. You stop near hippo pools and lake edges to observe hippos and bird species. Lunch is at a designated picnic site surrounded by wildlife. Continue game driving, including flamingo watching. In the early evening, drive back up to the crater rim for final panoramic views, then transfer back to Manyara's Secret for refreshments, dinner, and a second overnight.

After breakfast and check-out from Manyara's Secret, you transfer by road to Lake Manyara National Park. Arriving at the park gate in the late morning, you begin a game drive through the lush groundwater forest, where you may encounter blue monkeys, large troops of baboons, elephants moving through dense vegetation, and a variety of forest bird species. Continue toward the lakeshore to observe flamingos (seasonal), pelicans, hippos, and other water birds. A picnic lunch is served at a scenic site overlooking the lake and surrounding plains. In the afternoon, explore open floodplains and acacia woodlands, with chances to spot giraffes, zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and other plains game. After exiting the park, you transfer by road back to Arusha, where the tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
