Name and email address, provided when you begin a planning conversation or subscribe to communications; Travel preferences, including destination, dates, budget, group size, and any personal requirements you share with your specialist; Payment information, processed securely by our payment provider (Begovo does not store card details); Communication content from conversations with specialists via chat, email, or WhatsApp.
Information collected automatically:
Browser type, device type, and operating system; IP address and approximate location; Pages visited, time on page, and interaction data (via analytics tools); Cookie data, as set out in the Cookie Policy.
Information from third parties:
If you are referred to Begovo by a partner or affiliate, we may receive basic referral data from that source.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide and manage the Service, including specialist conversations and bookings; To communicate with you about your itinerary, booking, and trip; To confirm visa and documentation requirements as part of your plan; To send you marketing communications (where you have opted in); To improve the Service through analytics and usage data; To comply with legal and regulatory obligations; To detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the Service.
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
3. How We Share Your Information
Begovo shares your information only where necessary and only with parties who are required to handle it responsibly:
Travel Suppliers: We share relevant booking details with the Suppliers required to fulfill your itinerary, including accommodation providers, tour operators, and ground handlers.
Payment processors: Your payment data is handled by our third-party payment provider, not by Begovo directly.
Analytics and technology providers: We use trusted third-party tools to support the Service (e.g., analytics, email delivery, chat infrastructure). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements.
Legal authorities: We will disclose your information if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to provide the Service and to meet our legal obligations:
Active customer data is retained for the duration of your relationship with Begovo and for a reasonable period thereafter to support follow-up travel and account queries.
Booking and transaction data is retained for a minimum of 7 years for financial and legal compliance purposes.
Marketing consent records are retained until you withdraw consent.
You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to any legal retention obligations that apply.

No transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we take every reasonable precaution, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted to or from the Service.
7. International Transfers
Begovo is a U.S.-incorporated company and processes data in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you acknowledge this transfer.
