Itinerary
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be received and transferred via private car to your hotel in Nairobi to rest and refresh. After some time, you will be picked up from your hotel lobby to begin the shared tour drive to Masai Mara National Park. Travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley and enjoy the landscapes along the way. Arrive at your lodge in Masai Mara for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a shared tour game drive to spot wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos, as well as Maasai giraffes, elands, impalas, zebras, and gazelles. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart for a full-day shared tour game drive in Masai Mara with a packed lunch. Explore the expansive plains, observing large herds of herbivores, cheetahs, and leopards. Masai Mara is home to over 95 mammal species and more than 400 bird species, making it one of Africa’s most abundant wildlife areas. Lunch will be served at a picnic site near the Mara River, a prime location for observing the wildebeest migration and other wildlife. Continue your afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast and check-out, depart Masai Mara on a shared tour drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Stop en route for wildlife sightings and photography. Arrive at your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a shared tour game drive at Lake Nakuru to spot black and white rhinos, leopards, giraffes, and thousands of flamingos. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru for Lake Naivasha with a stop at Hell’s Gate National Park for a shared tour exploration. Enjoy walking or cycling (optional, $10–$20 per person) to see wildlife including zebras, giraffes, buffalo, gazelles, and various bird species. Marvel at the dramatic cliffs such as Fischer’s Tower and the Central Tower. Continue to Lake Naivasha for lunch and an optional boat ride ($20 per person) to see hippos, waterbirds, and capture memorable photographs. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you may enjoy a morning boat ride on Lake Naivasha if not done the previous day. Later, depart on a shared tour drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon and be dropped at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport via private transfer, concluding your safari.
